How do you plan a corporate event?+ Start with the purpose, format, participant numbers, dates and proposed location. Then specify services already selected and those to delegate. Unknown details can remain to be decided. What does a single supplier change in event procurement?+ BME purchases and rebills delegated services as a single supplier. Actual suppliers remain identified and each service retains its scope and approvals. Sourcing Force complements your ERP or S2P and follows your procurement process. Can we plan a retreat with suppliers already selected?+ Yes. Keep your venue, caterer or regular partners and delegate the missing services. An existing quote is also a starting point: specify what has been approved and what still needs review. Can we delegate only venue sourcing or one other service?+ Yes. Your requirements may cover a venue, catering, an activity or another service. Services can be approved at different times without approving the entire event at once. What information is needed to estimate an event budget?+ The format, participants, duration, destination and desired services help define your requirements. Include any quotes already received. If your budget is undecided, say so: prices and availability must be confirmed by suppliers. Does a brief or quote confirm an order?+ No. A brief, quote request or selected quote does not confirm an order. In the Sourcing Force process, BME must receive the official purchase order for the relevant purchase request. This website creates neither purchase requests nor orders.
